Who was Jerome Xavier?
Jerome Xavier, born Jerónimo de Ezpeleta y Goñi, was a Spanish Jesuit missionary into the Mughal court of Akbar, and his son Jahangir. Grand-nephew of Saint Francis Xavier he chose to be called Jerome Xavier.
