Who is Jerry Holan?
Gerald Ray Holan is an American former competition swimmer who represented the United States at the 1952 Summer Olympics in Helsinki, Finland. He swam for the gold medal-winning U.S. team in the preliminary heats of the men's 4x200-meter freestyle relay. Holan was not eligible to receive a medal under the 1952 Olympic swimming rules, however, because he did not swim in the relay final.
