Who was Jerry Jones?
Jerald Joseph Jones was a professional American football player in the early National Football League. From 1920-1924, Jones played for the Decatur Staleys/Chicago Staleys, Rock Island Independents, Toledo Maroons and Cleveland Bulldogs. Prior to his professional career, Jones played at the college level for the Notre Dame Fighting Irish.
