Who is Jerzy Maj?
Jerzy Michał Maj was a Polish pharmacologist and a professor. From 1977 to 1993 he was the director of the Institute of Pharmacology at the Polish Academy of Sciences in Kraków. A member of the Polish Academy of Sciences and the Polish Academy of Learning.
In 1949 he graduated in pharmacy from Jagiellonian University. He received his Ph.D. in 1951.
