Who was Jim Jackson?
James Benner Jackson was a Major League Baseball outfielder. Jackson played for the Baltimore Orioles, the New York Giants, and the Cleveland Naps in 1901 and 1902, and again from 1905 to 1906. In 348 career games, he had a .235 batting average with 300 hits in 1274 at-bats. He batted and threw right-handed.
He attended the University of Pennsylvania.
Jackson was born and died in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
