Who is Jitendra Singh?
Jitendra Singh is a professor of diabetes and endocrinology, a consultant and clinical practitioner, author of 8 books, and a newspaper columnist. He is a Bharatiya Janata Party National Executive member and Chief Spokesperson for the state of Jammu and Kashmir, India.
He won the Udhampur seat in Indian general election, 2014 for the 16th Lok Sabha.
He was sworn in as Minister of State along with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other ministers on 26 May 2014.
He is the minister for state for Science and Technology, Earth sciences, Prime Minister Office, Personnel-Public Grievances and Pensions, Department of Atomic Energy and Department of Space.
