Who is Jo Stanley?
Dr Jo Stanley FRHistS is a writer, consultant and curator who specialises in gender and the sea. Based in Calderdale, West Yorkshire, she also works with people to represent their lifestories in creative ways, including plays and digital animations. Though currently she does non-fiction, her output has included a number of short stories (written pseudonymously) and fringe plays.
