Who is Joba botana?

Joba Botana is a lifestyle writer for the Manila Standard Today. She took up AB Journalism at the University of the East Manila and graduated with latin honor. Botana was one of the student scholars of Philippine Daily Inquirer. Botana had been a student athlete from grade school until college. She had represented the University of the East in sporting events organized by the University Athletic Association of the Philippines and other national and international athletic competitions.Botana was once dubbed as the “next Lydia de Vega” by Ilocos Norte’s sports director Michael Keon.
