Who is Jochem Wijnands?

Jochem Wijnands is a Dutch documentary photographer, entrepreneur and founder of TRVL iPad magazine. His work has been published in magazines and newspapers in over 35 countries, including titles such as GEO, Geographical and National Geographic Magazine .

In 2002 he founded the photo agencies Picture Contact and Feature Contact. In July 2010, Wijnands, together with Michel Elings started TRVL, the first iPad exclusive magazine in the world, heralding a new era in magazine publishing. TRVL is also the first magazine applying the iTunes model, offering downloads of single features - much like iTunes does by offering single songs instead of an album. In August 2012 Wijnands co-founded Prss, again with his business partner Elings. Prss is a free software tool to create magazine apps and publish content on iPad and iPhone.
