Who is John Boyett?
John Newcomb Boyett is a current safety for the Denver Broncos. He was waived by the Indianapolis Colts on September 3, 2013, after an arrest in downtown Indianapolis, Indiana. The Colts had selected Boyett as a sixth round draft pick and pick number 192 overall in the 2013 NFL draft. He played college football for the Oregon Ducks. He signed with the Colts on May 9 and was placed on the non-football injury list on July 23, 2013. On September 2, 2013, Boyett was arrested for charges of disorderly conduct, public intoxication and resisting law enforcement. Boyett was signed to the Denver Broncos' practice squad on November 19, 2013.
