Who is John Briggs?
Jonathan Tift Briggs is a retired American professional baseball player, a former pitcher who played in Major League Baseball for five seasons for the Chicago Cubs from 1956 to 1958, the Cleveland Indians from 1959 to 1960, and the Kansas City Athletics in 1960. He was dealt from the Indians to the A's in August of the 1960 season and lost his first start with his new team to the Boston Red Sox.
