Who is John Buchanan?

John M. Buchanan, Ph.D. was a Professor of biochemistry at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He received his B.S. at DePauw University, in 1938, a M.S. at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor in 1939 and a Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1943. He joined the United States National Academy of Sciences in 1962.

Buchanan died in 2007.
