Who is John Coyle?
John Keithan Coyle is an American short track speed skater who competed in the 1994 Winter Olympics.
He was born in West Bloomfield Township, Michigan.
In 1994 he was a member of the American relay team which won the silver medal in the 5000 metre relay competition. In the 5000 m event as well as in the 5000 m contest he finished 19th.
John attended all of his grade school and high school years at Southfield Christian School in Southfield, Michigan, graduating with honors in 1986. He received a full scholarship to Stanford University in Palo Alto, California, paid for by the United States Olympic Committee, and was given his degree in 1990. After attaining his second-place medal, John was asked back to SCS to speak in a chapel service.
