Who was John James Bird?
John James Bird was a political figure in Manitoba. He represented Kildonan from 1892 to 1895 in the Legislative Assembly of Manitoba as a Liberal.
The son of Henry Bird, Bird married Margaret Peebles, a widow, in 1871. He served as reeve of the Rural Municipality of St. Andrews. Bird was defeated when he ran for reelection to the provincial assembly in 1896.
He died in St. Andrews, Manitoba at the age of 88.
