Who is John Kelly?
John Kelly manufactured hammered dulcimers from 1982 till his retirement in 2005. His instruments were shipped world-wide via the catalog department of Elderly Instruments in Lansing, Michigan. John Kelly produced 1098 dulcimers, and developed the unique open-back style of dulcimer which made it easier for a performer to use a microphone beneath the sound board.
John Kelly also performed on albums by Candice Anderson and Craig Wagner.
