Who is John McMahon?
John McMahon is a former association football player and coach. The brother of Liverpool & England player Steve McMahon, he played football at non-league level before a successful coaching career. He coached at Tranmere for several years, then became assistant manager at Shrewsbury from where he moved, in 2009, to become Reserve Team Coach at Liverpool, leaving in April 2011. In July 2011, he returned to Tranmere as first team coach.
