Who was John Parker?
John Parker was an English politician. He was a Member of Parliament for Clitheroe 1780-1782.
He was the son of Edward Parker of Browsholme Hall, Yorkshire, and was educated at Eton College and Christ's College, Cambridge. The art patron Thomas Lister Parker was his son.
