Who was John Sinclair?

John Stewart Sinclair was Archdeacon of Cheltenham from 1965 to 1976.

Hutchins was born into an eminent family, educated at Repton School and Oriel College, Oxford and ordained in 1876. After curacies in Pulborough and Fuham he was Vicar of St Dionis, Parsons Green and then Cirencester until his Archdeacon’s appointment.
