John Patrick Trainer is a former Australian politician. He served as Speaker of the South Australian House of Assembly from 1986 to 1990.
Trainer, a member of the Australian Labor Party, represented Ascot Park from 1979 to 1985 and Walsh from 1985 to 1993 in the South Australian House of Assembly.
