John White

Who is John White?

John White is the Chairman and CEO of Compass Marketing, Inc., and was the Republican nominee for U.S. Congress in 2006 in Maryland's 3rd congressional district to replace incumbent Democrat Ben Cardin, who successfully ran for the U.S. Senate. His opponents were Democrat John Sarbanes and Libertarian Charles Curtis McPeak. White was defeated by Sarbanes on November 7, 2006 by a 2-to-1 margin.

White holds a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Towson University and a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Baltimore.

A Facebook page, "Draft John White for Maryland Governor", is trying to encourage him to enter into the 2010 Maryland's Governor race.
