Who was Johnny Parker?
Johnny Parker, also called John "Tasty" Parker was an American jazz musician who played trumpet. He worked with Roosevelt Sykes, Sy Oliver, Duke Ellington, Sonny Rollins, Thelonious Monk, Brooks Kerr, Sonny Greer, and Etta Jones. He was the husband of the writer Leslie Gourse.
