Who is Jonathan P. G. Bach?

Jonathan Bach is a professor of International affairs.

He is the chair of the Global Studies undergraduate program at The New School in New York, where he has taught since 2002. He previously served as Associate and Acting Director of the International Affairs Program at The New School. Bach has worked on issues such as sovereignty, national identity and institutional memory. He previously held post-doctoral research positions at Columbia University, Harvard University, and the University of Hamburg. He is author of Between Sovereignty and Integration: German Foreign Policy and National Identity after 1989. His articles have appeared in many prominent periodicals, including Public Culture, Studies in Comparative and International Development, Theory, Culture & Society, and Geopolitics.
