Who is Jordan Morrison?

Jordan Morrison is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is currently playing for Arystan Temirtau in the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship. He was selected by the Pittsburgh Penguins in the 7th round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft. On August 7, 2012, Morrison signed for the San Francisco Bulls of the ECHL after returning from a European season in the Austrian Hockey League and the Norwegian GET-ligaen with EC KAC and Lillehammer IK respectively.

On June 21, 2013, as an impending free agent Morrison joined former Bulls teammate, Dean Ouellet in signing a one-year contract in the Kazakhstan Hockey Championship with Arystan Temirtau. However, on October 2, 2013, before the start of the 2013–14 ECHL season, both Morrison and Ouellet were able to come to terms with the San Francisco Bulls and returned to the team.

On January 27, 2014 the San Francisco Bulls announced they were ceasing operations effective immediately, leaving Morrison and all players on an ECHL contract with San Francisco as free agents.
