Who is Jose Ramon Villarin?
Father Jose Ramon T. Villarin, S.J., known as "Fr. Jett" by his students and colleagues, is a Filipino Jesuit priest and scientist, who currently serves as university president of the Ateneo de Manila University. On June 29, 2010, he was elected to succeed Fr. Bienvenido Nebres, S.J. as President of the Ateneo de Manila University. Fr. Villarin's first term as university president is from June 1, 2011 to March 31, 2014. He was succeeded as President of Xavier University - Ateneo de Cagayan by Fr. Roberto C. Yap, S.J.
