Who is Katharine Clark Gray?

Katharine Clark Gray is a writer, producer, actor and artist. In 2001 she created Governor's Laundress Productions to produce challenging work for stage, including her own The B Side [music by Chris Blisset] and You see me comin' you better run [a Village Voice Choice]. Other credits as scribe include Francis Bacon [winner, Kitchen Theatre Company's inaugural 'Ithaca Great Playwright' competition]; numerous collaborations with Raw Impressions, Inc. [including "Red Light" at Chashama and "Mr. Squeaky's SuperUltraClean Laundromat of Waking Dreams" at LaMama, Etc.]; Wired Shut at Manhattan Theatre Source; and True Dreams of Wichita at The People's Improv Theatre [starring Ms. Gray, dir. Catherine Miller]. Her work has been produced by The Drilling Co., Boomerang Theatre Co, Three Graces, Process Theatre, MTP!, and the internationally acclaimed summer festival NextFest in Edmonton, AB. Most recently her play 516 (five sixteen) premiered at the NY Int'l Fringe, courtesy of Roust Theatre Co..
