Who is Kerem Gogus?

As a pioneering entrepreneur and a valued member of the prestigious Göğüş family, Mr. Kerem Göğüş has paved the way for success by founding and establishing several very prestlgious building companies under his family name.

The Göğüş name and brand are internationally recognized within the building sector and Mr. Göğüş’s main goal is to offer impeccable construction with advanced technology and architectural innovations for the 21st century and beyond.

Mr. Göğüş’s sense of discovery and individualism led him to study at Near East University in Cyprus, at The Faculty of Computer Engineering on a scholarship. He completed his studies at Atılım University in Ankara where he now lectures in leadership classes. Mr. Göğüş also matriculates at Harvard Business School.

After graduation, he founded Göğüş Construction in 2003, later becoming chairman of Göğüş Holding and Trend Residence, The Göğüş name and brand has become synonomous with trust and quality in the building industry. With a multitude of projects, Mr. Göğüş began his foray into business with a focus on expanding his brand, making it one of the top in the sector.

In addition to founding Göğüş Construction, Mr. Göğüş also established the first chain of “city center residences” in Turkey. So far, his firm has built six residences on some of the finest prime real estate in Istanbul. With some of the most advanced technological and architectural innovations – Trend Residences has won a number of design awards in Europe.

Trend Residences Founder Kerem Göğüş has always placed a great emphasis on quality of life, earthquake security and city development when designing his buildings. Mr. Göğüş said his ultimate aim is high. As he told the press and some major Turkish organizations in Los Angeles last year, “The target is 100 Trend Residences by 2018.”

Mr. Göğüş takes an avid interest in the arts and acting, having founded the first acting club at Atilim University in Ankara, Turkey. His first play, entitled “Ah Şu Bizim Gençler,” was presented in Cyprus where the former Prime Minister of Cyprus, Rauf Denktas was in attendance. Mr. Göğüş also played the role of Caesar in the Ankara State Theater. His interests include golf, tennis and chess with a championship medal from the Turkish Universities Chess Championship.

Mr. Göğüş contributes to and works with a number of national and international charities as well as spearheading charity events. He was born in May 1980 in Ankara and is the grandson of the former mayor of Avanos, Cappadocia – a renown judge. The Göğüş family are well known in Turkey and continue to provide and excel in the building sector nationwide and abroad.
