Who was Kim Sung-jae?
Kim Sung-jae was a South Korean hip-hop singer, rapper and dancer, first known as the member of Deux, hip-hop duo that gained a popularity in the early 1990s. Several months after the group was disbanded, Kim released his solo album "As I Speak" on 19 November 1995. However, the day after his comeback performance at SBS, Kim Sung Jae suddenly died. The police reported that the cause of death was a heart attack caused by a complication of overdose and overworking. His girlfriend was arrested for the alleged murder of Kim Sung Jae but was acquitted. However the case still has been considered an unsolved mystery.
He was born in Seoul, South Korea as the first child and his younger brother is also a singer and musical actor.
