Who is Konstantin Lisenkov?
Konstantin Lisenkov is a paralympic swimmer from Russia competing mainly in category S8 events.
Konstantin was part of the Russian team that travelled to Beijing for the 2008 Summer Paralympics where he won one of each medal. His gold medal came in the 100m backstroke where he broke the world record, the silver medal was in the 100m freestyle where he was beaten by home swimmer Xiaofu Wang who set a new games record and the bronze came in the 50m freestyle. He also competed in the 100m butterfly where he failed to make the final and was part of the Russian teams in the 4x100m medley and 4x100m freestyle finishing sixth and eighth respectively.
