Who is Kosar Baghbani-Parizi?
Dr. Parizi received her PhD in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University, with a focus in Device Physics of Nano-biosensors and Ultrasensitive DNA Detection. Prior to graduate school, Kosar holds a MS in electrical engineering from Stanford University in 2007 and a BS in physics with honors from Sharif University in 2004. Kosar is the inventor or co-inventor of 5 patents and pending patents related to DNA detection, DNA sequencing and protein detection technologies. She has joined GenapSys team after inception, working on the GENIUS technologies and had a key contribution in developing novel and optimized nanosensors for high efficiency and low cost electrical sequencing. Dr. Parizi is directing Nanofabrication and Sensor Technology efforts.
