Who is Lance Brooks?
Lance Brooks is an American discus thrower who has qualified to compete in the 2012 Summer Olympics. He graduated from Millikin University in 2006. In 2009, he finished fourth in the discus at the US Outdoor Championships. In 2011, he finished third at the same event, qualifying for the World Championships, where he finished 13th. At the 2012 Olympic Trials, he placed first with a new personal best of 65.15 metres. In so doing, he achieved the Olympic "A" Standard for the first time of his career. At the Olympics, he placed 21st.
