Who is Laura Thompson?

Laura Fairweather MNZM is a New Zealand tandem cycling pilot. She won a gold, silver and bronze medal, with the vision impaired rider Phillipa Gray in the cycling at the 2012 Summer Paralympics.

Fairweather was made a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit in the 2013 New Year's Honours, for her services to cycling.
