Who is Liam Dunne?
Liam Dunne is an Irish former hurler who played as a centre-back for the Wexford senior team.
Regarded as one of Wexford's all-time greats, Dunne enjoyed a senior inter-county career that spanned three decades. During that time he won one All-Ireland winners' medal, two Leinster winners' medals and three All-Star awards.
At club level Dunne played with the Oulart-the-Ballagh club for more than twenty years, winning six county club championship winners' medals.
In retirement from playing Dunne became involved in coaching and team management. After taking charge of the Wexford minor team and the Oulart the Ballagh senior team, he was appointed manager of the Wexford senior hurling team in 2011.
