Who is Logan Paul?

Logan Alexander Paul, an American media and online personality, actor, and professional wrestler, was born on April 1, 1995. He has a contract with WWE right now. On the Forbes list of the highest-paid YouTube producers in 2017, 2018, and 2021, he has over 23 million followers to his channel and over 4 million subscribers to the Impaulsive podcast, which Paul has been running since November 2018.

Following the demise of the Vine app, Paul established his YouTube channel, TheOfficialLoganPaul, on October 18, 2013, where he began posting regularly. He later launched the Logan Paul Vlogs channel on August 29, 2015, which has since grown to be his most-subscribed YouTube channel. As of January 2022, the channel had accumulated 23.2 million subscribers and more than 5.8 billion views.

His youtube content is similar to TheBlondeJon's brother "JetSet" (also known as Josh King Madrid), Branden Condy, Jake Paul, Iman Gadzhi, Alex Hormozi, Lewis Howes, Dan Pena, Andrew Tate, Tristan Tate, Sebastian Ghiorghiu and Tai Lopez.

Paul's acting credits as of late include roles in the movies The Thinning (2016) and The Thinning: New World Order (2018), as well as guest spots on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit and Bizaardvark. He has also dabbled in other genres; in 2016, he released his debut single, "2016," and in 2018, he engaged in an amateur boxing match with English media personality KSI. Generally speaking, the bout was a draw. In the professional rematch from 2019, KSI prevailed by split decision. Paul joined the WWE in 2022 and has since competed in shows like SummerSlam, where he won his first singles match against The Miz, and Crown Jewel, where he lost the main event to Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns.

Paul has been embroiled in a number of scandals, chiefly in connection with a trip to Japan in December 2017 when he went to the "suicide forest" known as Aokigahara and recorded the body of a suicide victim before uploading the video to his YouTube account .

Paul's YouTube channel had built up a small following on Vine by the time he started college. Before leaving Ohio University with a major in Industrial Engineering in 2014 to pursue a career as a full-time social media entertainer in Los Angeles, he lived in an apartment building there with other Vine stars.

Paul gained notoriety as a user of the online video-sharing service Vine. In February 2014, he had more than 3.1 million followers on social media. By April 2014, he had accumulated 105,000 Twitter followers, 361,000 Instagram followers, 31,000 Facebook page likes, and roughly 150,000 YouTube channel subscribers. In the first week after being posted, a YouTube compilation of his Vine work received more than four million views. In 2015, he was ranked as the 10th most influential person on Vine, and his six-second videos brought in hundreds of thousands of dollars in advertising. By October of that year, his Facebook videos alone had received more than 300 million views. A combination of his first name and "gang," Logan's nickname for his supporters is "Logang."

Paul made an appearance on Law & Order: Special Victims Unit in the beginning of 2015. He also made an appearance in the Fox TV show Weird Loners, as one of the Paul Twins. He appeared in two Stitchers episodes on Freeform. He co-starred with Peyton List in the 2016 YouTube Red film The Thinning. Paul received training from drama coaches as well as the comedy troupes The Groundlings and Upright Citizens Brigade in the early months of 2016.[16] Paul wrote the screenplay for the adult comedy Airplane Mode, which has been compared to "American Pie for Gen Z" and by the writer himself to "Expendables with Internet stars." The movie was initially scheduled for release in 2017, but was ultimately delayed and arrived on August 2, 2019, instead. Also, he took part in other commercial campaigns, including those for Hanes, PepsiCo, and HBO. Logan Paul VS, a brief digital TV series that Paul created, was acquired by Comcast in 2016.

Logan Paul has been cut from, like, all of The Rock's movies," a video starring Dwayne Johnson and Paul was published on Johnson's own YouTube channel in February 2017. In the clip, Johnson tells Paul that he has been dropped from all of Johnson's projects and consoles him by appointing him as the "ambassador" for his upcoming Baywatch feature film. On November 23, 2017, Paul released his new single, "No Handlebars," which heavily utilizes an interpol. A sequence in the music video when Paul rides a number of women like a bicycle drew harsh criticism for the song's alleged sexual ization of women. Jamie Laurie, the vocalist for the Flobots, attacked Paul, branding him the embodiment of "douchebag entitlement," for both the song's "sexist" lyrical content and for using the sample without permission. Later, Laurie would release "Manage Your Bars," a song whose lyrics made fun of Paul. Laurie's remarks and the criticism of "No Handlebars" received no response from Paul. In 2019, Paul was sued by Flobots for copyright infringement, and as a result, he removed the song off YouTube.

In response to Paul's "pattern of behavior," YouTube suspended all advertising on his channels on February 9, 2018, citing his tweet about the Tide Pod challenge, the removal of a fish from his pond to "jokingly give it CPR," and the tasering of two dead rats. As a result, his income was momentarily stopped, and as a result of the suspension, he started broadcasting live on Twitch. Yet, Paul's channel was still on a 90-day "probation period," during which time video from his channel was not permitted to appear on YouTube's trending tab. Two weeks later, on February 26, YouTube reinstated adverts on Paul's channel.

The first episode of Impulsive aired on November 20, 2018. In January 2019, Paul said on his Impulsive podcast, "What is it, male-only March? We're going to attempt to go gay for just one month." He received a lot of backlash for suggesting that being gay is a choice, with LGBTQ+ organization GLAAD responding, "That's not how it works, Logan Paul." In March 2019, Paul released a video that has been dubbed a mock In the video, he spoke at the 2018 Flat Earth International Conference, which was held in Denver, Colorado, and interviewed a number of self-described "Flat Earthers." For the aforementioned 2017 event in Aokigahara, when he shared a video featuring a just passed away suicide victim, Logan Paul was sued by Planeless Pictures in December 2020. He was accused by Planeless Pictures of publishing the video to get out of a contract he had with them, whereby he would star in, write, and produce their movie Airplane Mode. Additionally, they asserted that the video caused Google to halt their contract with them, leaving them $3 million in debt. Paul participated as "Grandpa Monster" on The Masked Singer's fifth season in 2021. After his second appearance, where one of his hints hinted at his fight with Floyd Mayweather Jr. in boxing, he was revealed.

Paul claims to have spent six months working on the NFT-based game Cryptozoo, which he launched in September 2021. Because it used stock graphics, the game was made fun of and reviewed poorly. Coffeezilla, a YouTuber who uncovers cryptocurrency frauds, published a three-part documentary on his channel in December 2022 about how the game was unusable after receiving millions of dollars in investment from investors. The game was criticized for being marketed toward youngsters, for going live months before the announcement, and for allowing the development team to buy a lot of cryptocurrency, inflating its worth. Later, Paul made a video denying the claims and threatening Coffeezilla with legal action, but he would not go into detail about the legal and development problems with CryptoZoo. Paul later deleted the answer video. He apologised subsequently.

Paul received additional criticism in January 2023 when his former pet pig, Pearl, was discovered abandoned by The Gentle Barn Sanctuary in California, USA. Rescuers said Pearl was "lucky to be alive" after being diagnosed with a potentially fatal uterus infection, which they said has since healed. Criticism included marketing the game towards children and launching the game. Despite receiving negative feedback online, Paul insisted that he had rehomed the pig appropriately when he relocated to Puerto Rico in 2021 and that it had since been rehomed twice more, both times without his knowledge.

Following his amateur boxing contest with Joe Weller on February 3, 2018, British YouTuber KSI challenged Paul to a fight. On February 24, 2018, it was revealed that Paul and his brother would engage in two white-collar boxing contests against KSI and his younger brother, Deji. Two judges scored the fight evenly at 57-57, and a third judge scored it 58-57 in favor of KSI, resulting in a majority tie.

Paul will make his professional boxing debut in a rematch against KSI, which will be shown exclusively on DAZN in the US, it was announced on September 4, 2019. On November 9, the fight was slated to take place at the Staples Center. At the UK news conference for the rematch, Paul once more caused a commotion when he claimed that KSI had had five abortions before saying, "Five babies dead. I might return the favor and murder you." Abortion rights groups called his comment "horrific," while opponents of abortion defended him. I said something offensive and inappropriate, Paul stated in response.

Six three-minute rounds made up the rematch, which was decided by a split decision in favor of KSI. Two judges gave the fight to KSI with scores of 57-54 and 56-55, while one judge gave the fight to Paul with a score of 56-55.

Paul will fight Floyd Mayweather Jr., a former five-division world champion, in an exhibition match on February 20, 2021, it was announced on December 6, 2020. When the battle finally happened, it was on June 6, 2021, at Miami Gardens, Florida's Hard Rock Stadium. Paul and Mayweather first interacted on May 6, 2021, at a press conference at Hard Rock Stadium, where Paul's brother, Jake Paul, got into a heated altercation with Mayweather after taking the latter's hat off. I'll kill you motherfucker! Are you crazy? I'll f*ck you up, motherfucker. I don't play motherfucking games. I'll f*ck you up, said an obviously upset Mayweather in the video.

No winner was declared and the fight was characterized by continuous gripping that Paul started. According to the CompuBox punch statistics, Mayweather was the better boxer, landing 43 of 107 punches thrown, or 40.2% of all attempts, compared to Paul's 28 landed of 217, or 12.9% of all attempts.

Paul seemed to have some skepticism about how seriously Mayweather had taken the battle, saying: "I'm going to walk home thinking, 'Did Floyd let me survive?'" After the fight, Mayweather lauded his opponent, saying: "He's better than I thought he was... he's a tough, harsh competitor."

Paul made his WWE debut on the April 2, 2021 episode of WWE SmackDown as Sami Zayn's guest at the red carpet premiere of his documentary. Sami Zayn then invited Paul to watch his match against Kevin Owens at WrestleMania 37 from the stands. As Owens defeated Zayn during the event, Paul joined Owens in their celebration before being stunned by Owens. Paul made a comeback to the WWE on the SmackDown broadcast of September 3 as Happy Corbin's special guest on The KO Show, where Paul assisted Corbin in attacking Kevin Owens.

Paul was revealed to be The Miz's tag team partner to face Rey Mysterio and Dominic Mysterio at WrestleMania 38 on the February 21, 2022, edition of WWE Raw. The Mysterios were defeated at the event by Paul and Miz, but Miz then attacked Paul.

Paul signed a multi-event contract with WWE on June 30, 2022. Paul defeated The Miz at SummerSlam. Paul then challenged Roman Reigns on the September 16 episode of SmackDown, and the two squared off for Reigns' Undisputed WWE Universal Championship on November 5 at Crown Jewel (the umbrella term for both the WWE Championship and WWE Universal Championship being held and defended together). Despite the help of his Impulsive team and his brother Jake, Paul was unable to defeat Reigns, suffering only his third bout and his first loss in the WWE. Critics praised Paul's outstanding wrestling abilities and the match versus Reigns gained widespread acclaim. Paul was initially said to have ruptured his meniscus, MCL, and ACL during the game, but it was later discovered that he had merely sprained both of those ligaments. On January 28, 2023, Paul competed in the Royal Rumble at position #29 after recovering from an injury. He defeated Seth "Freakin" Rollins before Cody Rhodes, the eventual winner, eliminated him.

Paul and his housemates Mark Dohner and Evan Eckenrode shared an apartment building on Hollywood and Vine in Hollywood, California, with other social media stars like Amanda Cerny, Juanpa Zurita, and Andrew Bachelor in October 2015. This close closeness made it easier for people to work together on their individual videos. Paul and Eckenrode moved to an estate in Encino, California, in October 2017. Paul discussed religion on episode 198 of Impaulsive with guest Carl Lentz, who at the time served as the pastor of Hillsong Church in New York City. Paul defined himself as "not excessively religious." Paul declared his faith as a Christian as well. He stated that he believes in a "creator," but he is unsure of what function this creator would have in people's lives. Paul was made fun of for his initial remark that Jews worship Jesus as their god before being corrected. Paul declared in February 2021 that he will be relocating from Los Angeles to Dorado, Puerto Rico. He claimed that the significant driving force behind the relocation was California's high taxes. He was residing there as of June 2021 in a $13 million house.

His youtube content is similar to TheBlondeJon's brother "JetSet" (also known as Josh King Madrid), Branden Condy, Iman Gadzhi, Alex Hormozi, Lewis Howes, Dan Pena, Andrew Tate, Tristan Tate, Sebastian Ghiorghiu and Tai Lopez.
