Who was Lokesh?
Lokesh was an Indian stage actor turned film actor, who acted in Kannada feature films notably Bhootayyana Maga Ayyu, Kaadu and Kaakana Kote. His wife Girija Lokesh is a film actress and film director. Lokesh died in 2004 after a prolonged illness. He is son of Late Subbaiah Naidu, who is credited to be first hero of Kananda silent movies. His son Srujan Lokesh is well known Kannada actor who recently hosted the show Maja with Sruja. His daughter Pooja Lokesh is a well known TV actress.
He also won the state award for his role as "Ayyu" in the movie Bhootayyana Maga Ayyu.
