Who is Lukas Steinhauer?
Lukas Steinhauer is a German professional ice hockey goaltender who is currently playing for the EHC Klostersee in the Oberliga, the tier 3 league in Germany.
During the 2010–11 season, Steinhauer made his DEL debut appearing in 6 games for the Scorpions. Throughout the course of the season, Steinhauer was also assigned to EHC Klostersee, Hannover Braves and the Hannover Indians for brief periods on loan. After spending the 2012–13 season with EHC Red Bull München appearing in just 4 games as a backup, Steinhauer signed a contract to move to the Schwenninger Wild Wings, the newest member of the DEL on July 1, 2013.
On August 26, 2014, Steinhauer signed a contract with EHC Klostersee, in the German tier 3 league. He also announced he would be undertaking vocational studies while he was playing hockey.
