Who is Manuel Sánchez?
Manuel Sánchez is a Mexican economist with extensive experience in banking and academia. On April 23, 2009 the President Felipe Calderón Hinojosa nominated him as Deputy Governor and member of the Governing Board of the Bank of Mexico for the period ending on December 31, 2016. The Standing Commission of the Mexican Congress ratified his appointment on May 27, 2009.
