Who was Margaret Fairlie?

Margaret Fairlie was a Scottish academic and gynaecologist. Fairlie spent most of her career working at Dundee Royal Infirmary and teaching at the medical school at University College, Dundee. In 1940 she became the first woman to hold a professorial chair in Scotland.
