Who is Mark Thompson?
Mark James Thompson is a Liberal Democrat blogger based in Sandhurst in Berkshire. He edits the "Mark Thompson's Blog" which began in November 2008 and is also a regular contributor to the Dale & Co group blog edited by Iain Dale.
Thompson won the Best New Liberal Democrat Blog of the Year award in 2009 awarded by Liberal Democrat Voice.
He has appeared on BBC Radio 4, The World Service and Sky News and frequently appears on BBC Radio 5 Live and LBC 97.3 as a political pundit. He was also a regular guest on John Pienaar's BBC Radio 5 Live podcast and co-hosted a regular political podcast called House of Comments between 2009 and 2010.
