Who is Mary Tang?
Dr. Tang is a Senior Research Associate at Stanford. She has extensive experience in biotechnology as well as the electronics industry. Following several years as a semiconductor fabrication engineer at Intel, Dr. Tang began studying self-assembling DNA nanoparticles which eventually resulted in a successful commercial product for in vitro gene delivery (Transfectam). She now serves as the Biotech Liaison at SNF and also manages the process engineering group there. Dr. Tang actively works on research that bridges nanofabrication methods in electronics processing with biological systems.
