Who is Matt McIlvane?
Matt McIlvane is an American retired professional ice hockey player. He played for the Cincinnati Cyclones in the ECHL, the Bloomington PrairieThunder of the Central Hockey League and the Peoria Rivermen of the American Hockey League. He was selected by the Ottawa Senators in the 8th round of the 2004 NHL Entry Draft.
On October 25, 2011, it was announced that McIlvane had retired from professional hockey citing health reasons. He previously served as the head coach of the Danville Dashers of the Federal Hockey League, and is currently an assistant coach for the Orlando Solar Bears of the ECHL.
