Who is Mike Ward?
Mike Ward is a British television director and producer who specialises in live programming. His credits include the 1992 and 1996 Paralympics, the Moscow and Seoul Olympics and a variety of specialist shows including Challenge Anneka, The Prudential Awards for the Arts, Midweek Sports Special Beauty and the Beast special, the weddings of The Prince of Wales and The Prince Andrew, the India and Pakistan Cricket World Cup opening ceremony, The South African Cricket World Cup.
Mike Ward was Executive Editor BBC Events with responsibility for the wedding of Prince Edward, World’s Strongest Man, and the Crufts dog show.
He is married and lives in Sussex.
