Major-General Mohamed Raafat Shehata Abdel Wahed is an Egyptian soldier and intelligence officer, who was Director of the Egyptian General Intelligence Directorate from September 2012 to July 2013. At the beginning of his career in the Intelligence Service he worked for the Egyptian Strategic Research Center.
