Who is Nick Franklin?
Nicholas Edward "Nick" Franklin is an American professional baseball second baseman for the Seattle Mariners of Major League Baseball. He was drafted in the first round, 27th pick overall, of the 2009 Major League Baseball Draft. He attended Lake Brantley High School where he won numerous awards, including being named the player of the year by the Orlando Sentinel in 2009. Franklin made his professional debut in 2009, playing at two different levels in the Mariners' organization.
