Who is Nicolae Penescu?
Nicolae Penescu was a Romanian lawyer and politician. A member of the National Peasants' Party, he served as Interior Minister from November 4 to December 6, 1944. After spending years in prison and internal exile, he emigrated to France, where he was active in denouncing the Communist regime.
