Noriyoshi Sakai is a Japanese-German footballer who plays as a central midfielder for J. League club Avispa Fukuoka. A versatile midfielder, Sakai can play in many different positions, although central midfield is his preferred position.
He is the younger brother of current VfB Stuttgart player and former Albirex Niigata team-mate Gotoku Sakai.
