Who is Olli Määttä?

Olli Määttä is a Finnish ice hockey defenseman who is currently playing for the Detroit Red Wings in the National Hockey League. Määttä was the first overall selection in the 2011 Canadian Hockey League Import Draft, and was a member of Team Finland at the 2011 IIHF World U18 Championships. Määttä was also a member of Team Finland at the 2011, 2012 and 2013 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships. Määttä was selected 22nd overall by the Penguins in the 2012 NHL Entry Draft and subsequently won 2 Stanley Cups during his time in Pittsburgh. Määttä moved on to play a season in Chicago before joining the Los Angeles Kings in a trade for Brad Morrison. He is known for his ability to block shots and his hockey IQ.
