Who is Pat Donnelly?
Patrice Michelle "Pat" Donnelly is a retired American track and field athlete, known primarily for running the hurdles. She ran in the 1976 Summer Olympics, finishing fifth in her qualifying race, 0.01 of a second out of qualifying position. She also participated in the 1970 and 1973 World University Games and the 1971 and 1975 Pan American Games. She was the 1970 AIAW champion in the hurdles. She was also a pentathlete.
In 1971 she was Miss La Mesa. She was married to Montreal shot putter Pete Shmock. After divorcing Shmock, she married Montreal sprinter Mark Lutz, after he divorced Montreal distance runner Francie Larrieu.
