Who is Pathmajeewa Ganepola?
Professor Pathmajeewa Ganepola MRCP, MD is a Sri Lankan born Professor attached to Columbia University New York City, USA.
He is also the Medical Director of The Center for Cancer Research and Genomic Medicine at The Valley Hospital USA.
In 2008, he became the first ever Physician to be officially invited to address the Annual Global Forum for Economic and Social issues which was held at Performance Theatre New Delhi in India.
While being the fist International Student who graduated from Kyoto University Japan, he is also the fist Sri Lankan who was recognised by the then Congress of Neurological Surgeons as a Neuro Surgeon in United States.
He was educated at Nalanda College Colombo.
