Who is Pema Khandu?
Pema Khandu is an Indian politician from the state of Arunachal Pradesh. Khandu is the eldest son of Chief Minister Dorjee Khandu, who died in a helicopter crash. On May 20, 2011, following his father's death, Khandu was included in the state government as Cabinet Minister of Water Resource Development and Tourism. He won an uncontested election to the Arunachal Pradesh Legislative Assembly from his father's constituency Mukto in 30th June 2011. He stood as an Indian National Congress candidate. A graduate from Hindu College, Delhi University and Previously was holding the post of District President of Indian National Congress.
