Who is Pete Harris?

Donald "Pete" Harris is a member of the Northeastern University athletics Hall of Fame. Harris was inducted in 1990 for his excellence in basketball.

Harris is regarded as one of the greatest Northeastern basketball players of all time, playing in 109 straight games and recording a double-double in all of them but 3. Harris was instrumental in guiding the Huskies to their first NCAA appearance in 1981. During the 1981 season Harris scored 30 points against rival Boston University which prompted BU coach Rick Pitino to say, "I'd trade two recruiting years for him."

Harris was drafted by the Phoenix Suns in the six round of the 1981 NBA Draft.
